Medieval Teddies of Abbeystowe. These teddies are very cute and very collectible. Unique and exclusive to the Abbey they make a wonderful gift - if you can bear to part with them.

Meet…Ela, Countess of Salisbury, is named in honour of Ela of Salisbury, 3rd Countess of Salisbury, a great noblewoman in medieval England who succeeded her father as the Countess of Salisbury. Ela married William Longsword in 1196, and he became the 3rd Earl of Salisbury by right of his wife. The couple raised a large happy family and managed vast estates. Later in life, Ela became a nun and eventually Abbess of Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire. Ela has been described as "one of the two towering female figures of the mid-13th century", the other one being the Countess of Lincoln.

Stylishly attired by the Abbey Made team.
