Astrid the Viking - Teddies of Abbeystowe
Introducing the Viking Teddies of Abbeystowe, Teddies with a Viking twist. These teddies are very cute and very collectible. Unique and exclusive to the Abbey they make a wonderful gift - if you can bear to part with them.
Meet…ASTRID of Abbeystowe,
Astrid was born in a small Viking village known as Gudvangen near the shores of the magical waters of Nærøyfjord, Noreg (Norway) in the Middle Ages.
Astrid loves her forest homeland and enjoys keeping the home fires burning when her husband Brynjar joins other Viking warriors from their village each spring, as they set sail on the Nærøyfjord to the sea in their wooden longship to raid, plunder, trade and bring wonderful foreign goods back to their village.
Astrid carries a small Viking Birka pouch on her belt, so she can collect fresh herbs and edible greens while she’s walking through the dark green forests surrounding her village. Astrid is a wise woman and uses medicinal plants to restore the health and vitality of those in need and is most respected amongst her village community.
Stylishly attired by the Abbey Made team.
