Worn throughout the Medieval period, a lady's surcoat was a sign of her status & wealth. This girl's surcoat is made from two fabrics: a royal blue jacquard with fleur-de-lis patterning contrasting with a sage green jacquard repeating the fleur-de-lis motif. The bodice is decorated with alternating green & blue beading.
