Abbey Made Viking Ladies Underdress & Apron

This mustard underdress is a traditional item worn by Viking woman at all levels of society. It has loose-fitting sleeves for ease of movement, a comfortable neckline and full-length skirt. The sleeves and hemline are trimmed with green textured braid which complements the accompanying apron.

This crimson apron is a historically accurate reproduction of styles found in numerous Viking settlement sites across northern Europe. It features loose-fitting front & back panels attached by wide straps over the shoulders. The embroidered ribbon on the front & matching carrybag are in a Scandanavian-style pattern and co-ordinates with the apron colour. The plaited belt has a silver chain with a Thor's hammer and silver decorations on the ends. The bodice features a silver chain suspended between two exquisite jewellery pieces made from crimson & jade-coloured stones set in silver.
